The available inventory of homes for sale in Bend increased for the third month in a row, with 382 active listings in May, up 24% from 307 in April. Since the beginning of the year, active listings have increased by 64%.

New listings in Bend—including existing and newly-constructed homes—were up 25% last month, from 210 in April to 262 in May.

Sales of Bend homes slowed by 21% last month, but pending sales were up slightly by 2%. There were 130 sales in May, down from 164 in April, and there were 171 listings pending last month. Homes in Bend sold a little more quickly last month, with an average of 38 days on market, down from 43 in April.

At $745,900 in May, the median sales price of a home in Bend was up 6% month-to-month and within 1% of the median price in May of last year.
