Jennie O'Loughlin of the Skjersaa Group in Bend, Oregon“Our team is very excited to have Jennie on board,” says Terry Skjersaa, Principal Broker, CRS. “Both Jennie’s personality and experience are a great match for the Skjersaa Group. Throughout her real estate and banking career, she has maintained her principal broker’s license and is well-versed in transaction management in the real estate industry.”

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Jennie moved to Bend in 2012 from Southern Oregon where she was a transaction coordinator for a residential real estate company. For the past seven years, Jennie has worked in commercial lending, primarily helping to finance Central Oregon builders. Her interest in understanding how real estate trends influence market behavior has fueled her ongoing fascination with residential real estate.

“Every transaction is different, and I enjoy learning about the motivations and goals of each client.”

“Every transaction is different, and I enjoy learning about the motivations and goals of each client,” says Jennie. “I’m excited to be part of the Skjersaa Group. It’s a small, local team that provides personalized service, and I’m looking forward to learning from this group of professionals who operate so well together.”

Jennie and her husband were drawn to Bend for its similarity to the high-desert town of Flagstaff, Ariz., where they lived prior to moving to Southern Oregon. However, it was the Bend community that motivated them to call it home.

“Most people live here because they want to be here,” says Jennie. “Bend is full of people who have intention for how and where they live. The level of involvement in the community and the passion people have for outdoor recreation is unique.”

Jennie and her husband live with two dogs, three cats and a horse on a small farm. She enjoys riding and jumping her horse and volunteering for the High Desert Hunter Jumper Association.
