If you plan on listing your Bend Oregon Home for Sale should you stage it? The answer is yes.

Thanks to a recent survey of Real Estate agents from across the United States we know that 81% of agents said that staging helps potential home buyers visualize the home as theirs, and a place they would want to live in the future.

Simple Staging Tips

Although you may have thought in the past that staging a home was complicated, it’s actually a lot easier than you think if you follow these simple tips.

Tip 1 – Declutter before staging including boxing up items you’re not currently using.

Tip 2 – Remove personalized items from your home like: artwork, family photos or other mementos which identify the home as yours.

Tip 3 – Clean your home thoroughly before home buyers arrive.

Tip 4 – Place your dogs, cats or other pets in the care of a family member or friend for the day so that buyers don’t have to be burdened with running into one or more of your pets when they arrive.

Tip 5 – Get rid of clutter, old vehicles, or debris from your yard. This step is important since a clutter filled yard can cause any home buyer to not want to get out of their vehicle and tour your home since they will think the inside of your home is messy as well.

Take Great Pictures of Your Home

Once your home is staged make sure professional pictures are taken since this will also help to increase interest in your home online.
