Are you planning on going fishing in Bend, Prineville or Redmond and are searching for Central Oregon Fishing News? If so, you’ve come to the right place.
Now is a great time to come to Central Oregon to do some fishing since the weather is warming up and that makes for great conditions at our local lakes and reservoirs.
ANTELOPE FLAT RESERVOIR
Although you can get here via road 17, you might want to think twice about fishing at this reservoir for a while since it’s not full as in years past and the water has been dirtier than normal.
BEND PINE NURSERY
Great place to fish especially if you have children, since they recently restocked their pond with Rainbow Trout, but the limit is only two per day so be prepared to do some catch and release if you come here for the day.
CROOKED RIVER – BELOW BOWMAN DAM
One of the best spots for local anglers, Crooked River below Bowman Dam is a great place to fish and there’s plenty of Trout plus Whitefish here this time of year since they are also spawning thanks to warmer river.
